The Riverside Arts Centre, located in Lower Sunbury, acts as a venue for a number of amateur theatre groups and local events. The centre stages plays, concerts, art festivals and workshops. A recent acquisition will increase the size of the centre.
Kempton Park Racecourse is also located in Sunbury. The course, which opened in 1878, stages both flat & jump racing throughout the year and is used as an exhibition / outdoor events centre. During the summer months, it holds regular themed evening races on Wednesdays which are quite popular with the locals.
Other sources of entertainment are located in the local towns of Kingston and Staines. These include cinemas, nightclubs and venues.
