Town Suburbs
Stanwell is not large enough to have any Suburbs but does have three distinct areas worth mentioning.
Modern Residential Stanwell This area lies to the south of Stanwell Village and borders Ashford to the south and Heathrow Airport to the north east. The area was built in the 1950's in response to the need for council homes for airport workers.
Stanwell Moor Located to the east of Stanwell Village and separated from it by a link road, Stanwell Moor is a small collection of roads on the site of an old manor estate. The area is conveniently located for access to the M25 (Junction 14) and the Southern Perimeter road of Heathrow Airport. Its proximity to Heathrow Airport's main runway can sometimes lead to complaints about noise levels.
Stanwell Village This is the original village of Stanwell and is a conservation area. The village has a church and a village green which both date back many years. There are some village stores and the area does have a village feel to it.
