The main local attraction is the River Thames which runs along the west side of Staines town centre. It is a popular destination offering beautiful riverside walks, open spaces and a chance to see some local wildlife. The best place to access it is from Staines Bridge, which has parking facilities and a number of pubs & restaurants.
Bedfont Lakes is another local attraction. It is large nature reserve located between the neighbouring towns of Ashford and Feltham. It is free to visit and offers a near perfect place to relax and watch wildlife.
