1. How does the 'Recently Viewed' feature work ?
This feature uses the ability of your browser to store a 'Cookie' on your computer. A 'Cookie'
is a simple text file which contains information given to your browser by our system. We use a Cookie
to store a list of the names of the Towns you have viewed. This information is then read to
produce the 'Recently Viewed' list of Towns.
2. Why does the 'Recently Viewed' feature not work on my computer ?
The most probable cause of this feature not working properly is that your browser has been configured
reject Cookies. Another cause could be a security program that blocks your computer from accepting
Cookies. You may wish to review your Browser's Cookie settings or modify any security programs you may have
running on your computer. If you have checked these and they appear to be fine, you can contact
us for more specific support at support@town-guides.org.
3. Do you store any personal or private information about me in the Cookie ?
No. The only information we store in the Cookie is a list of Town names. No information that can be
related to you personally is recorded or stored by our system in the Cookie.
